The Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University is offering grants up to $500 to start and coach an ethics bowl team at your high school during the 2023-2024 school year. Information about ethics bowl and the competition

Ethics Bowl is an activity that promotes respectful, supportive, and in-depth dialogue about ethical and moral questions and decisions. Ethics Bowl matches during a competition feature two teams meeting head-to-head to discuss and evaluate case studies.

The Indiana High School Ethics Bowl competition is Saturday, February 3, 2024 at DePauw University and The Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics in Greencastle, Indiana. Teams participate in three preliminary rounds in the morning. Winning teams move on to quarter, semi and final rounds in the afternoon. The state winner then competes in a virtual Divisional Playoff in hopes of earning a spot to attend the national competition in April 2024 at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Payment to register for the Indiana competition is $150 for one team and $75 for each additional team, up to three teams.
