Ethical Reasoning and Decision-Making for Lawyers (Canceled)
Update: This event has been canceled due to lack of registrations.
Navigating ethically difficult decisions presents unique hurdles and raises important questions. How should you balance the interests and objectives of involved parties? How should you address your own bias and interests? How do you manage the aftermath of tough choices? In most cases, it takes dialogue, intentional communication, and informed decision-making. In this Continuing Legal Education course, you’ll explore the nuances of ethically challenging decisions, identify your own blind spots, and learn how to make better, more informed decisions. You will also gain strategies for handling difficult conversations—from how to deal with disengagement to how to balance different perspectives and turn charged emotions into productive dialogue.
This course is presented in collaboration with the Indiana State Bar Association, and is worth 4.0 CLE Credits (Ethics). For more information, contact Associate Director Emily Knuth.
