Athmeya Jayaram is a Research Scholar at The Hastings Center, a non-partisan ethics research institute. He has a Ph.D. in political theory from the University of California, Berkeley and writes about politics and technology for both academic and general audiences. Prior to joining The Hastings Center, he held postdocs at Johns Hopkins, the University of Oxford, and the University of California, San Diego.
